Hello! Thank you so much for visiting Alleluia. Since you’re here, let me tell you a little about myself and how I ended up here as well:

While approaching 25 years old, I had somewhat of an epiphany regarding how I wanted to live my life. I was working a corporate job and living by the expectations of others (not just in my work life but my personal one as well). This meant working for steadiness, comfortability,  and creating repertoire - which to some is a great thing! But to me, it was miserable. I know it sounds crazy, but if you happen to know me personally, you know there are too many things I dream of doing in my life to sit and work behind a computer (let alone for someone else!) for years. And I wholeheartedly believe God put this business idea on my heart for a reason, so I quit my job and put all my effort into following it. But I didn’t always have such a confident faith in God. 

I come from a Christian family, grew up in a faith filled home, and even attended Catholic school. But like many people I never had my own super close relationship with God. It wasn’t until I became an adult and actually faced the difficult things in life people warn you about when I turned to Jesus for real.

Grief, loss, anxiety — or just simply making mistakes — all made me realize that we are incapable as humans of handling all of life just on our own. And it was when I was riddled with anxiety and depression and feeling so shameful for some of the mistakes I’ve made in my life that I found Him, and He made me into a new person. He accepted and redeemed me. He comforted me in my worst times, and celebrated me at my best. And although I’m still not perfect (as none of us are), the acceptance from Him and the redemption He gave me are the inspiration I choose to live my life by now. So I created this outlet to offer that redemption to others — to make them feel brand new, and to celebrate Him and spread His transformative love while doing it.

So when one night, while unable to sleep from anxiety contemplating my life path, He put Romans 8:28 (my mother’s favorite verse) on my heart with this idea, I quite literally woke up the next morning and got to work. And Alleluia! Here I am. I’m so happy you’re here too.
